Without a doubt the most graphic violent movie I've ever seen. I remember there were rumors of animals being killed during shooting and that the rape scene was real. Dunno what's true, but I think the director was sued and the movie banned in several countries.

Anyways, I thought the movie was pretty rubbish and the acting was abysmal :-&

Though it is tame by todays' comparisons, the movie that affected me most was The Conqueror Worm (1968) Vincent Price. Heck, I was, like, 17.

After that, The Exorcist (1973). I used to emulate the crowd voice coming out of Regan when I'd sneak up on my wife in the washroom. I only did that a couple of times. Then I woke up in the ER...

I'm a huge fan of anything HORROR but I couldn't even finish watching A SERBIAN FILM due to the content so I would have to say Irreversible is the most disturbing film I have ever seen from beginning to end.

A few come to mind, but one is "The Girl Next Door" with Elisha Cuthbert. My girlfriend at the time wanted to see it on DVD, but I didn't...and our roommate pulled the "guilt card" on me. I only saw it once, and that was more than enough.

A Serbian Film without a doubt. It's also one of my favorite films. The story revolves around a former pornstar that is forced do do an ultimate film, but the conseuqences will be dire!! ohhhhh

By far most disturbing for me was Mysterious Skin. It was a hard watch, but its got the power to make you watch till the end. It has some scenes that are quite raw. Stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Elizabeth Shue. Directed by Greg Araki (sp?)!

I normally don't put myself in a position to be disturbed by any movies. But I'm totally upset when I think a movie will be good after viewing it's trailer, and end up being an art house movie. And even more upset to know that Curt normally loves these movies, lol
