Great news for the Dexter fans! Showtime has decided to make a Ten-Part Miniseries that will end in 2022. Personally, I’m not really a fan. I’ve never watched a single episode of the older TV Series from 2006 to 2013 and will probably never watch this miniseries either... although it’s debatable, it’s a miniseries after all.



Set 10 years after the show’s controversial ending, Dexter: New Blood picks up after the world at large believes Dexter Morgan died in a tragic boating accident in the eye of Hurricane Laura. Far from the life he knew and living under a false name in the small town of Iron Lake, New York, he’s successfully tamped down his Dark Passenger. With a normal job and a Chief of Police girlfriend, it seems he’s got life under control – until his son shows up and turns his world upside down. Rattled, Dexter yields to his homicidal urges and soon finds himself on a collision course with a very dangerous local.

My husband and I watched all 8 seasons. We loved the series and hated the ending. I hope this mini-series will bring closure
