As some of you have no doubt noticed we have stopped hosting Stills and Promos in the resource gallery, they just waste too much space for the minimal amount of downloads they receive.

So effective immediately no more will be accepted into the gallery and any uploaded will be deleted.

I have begun purging existing ones starting with the biggest files first, then I'm moving to oldest and working my way forward until they are all removed.

I don't have a time frame to remove them all as it's not a pressing issue and will likely be some time before they are all gone as there are 37,000+ stills and promos currently in there.

Just want to halt any more from being added and make everyone aware of why they are going missing.

Also the minimal size for posters has been increased from 2000px to 2500px.

Pardon my ignorance, but what are "promos"?

Types of images released by studios include:

Posters - tall images finished with titles, logos and billing information

Banners - wide images finished with titles, logos and billing information

Stills - raw unfinished camera shot images from the sets during filming or captured from the digital footage.

Promos - short for Promotional images also called publicity photos - they are similar to stills but are often not from the film - they are both finished and unfinished types, they are often of characters or groups of characters generally shoot off-set in a photography studio, with or without backgrounds. They might also include Magazine Covers, or other Advertisement images, basically any image created to promote the film.
