Final touches are being made on a brand new MR COVERS site, featuring design inspiration, interviews, resources, and tutorials to energize discussion and creativity across your favorite custom cover sites.

Most importantly, it will host Cover Site Battle Royal III!

EFX is officially ready to defend its championship and may be represented by up to 3 Designers and 4 Judges!

The selected titles will be an Academy Award-winning classic, and this year's Academy Award-winner for Best Picture.

Champions Kernie82 and BPMFord will join as bonus judges representing MR COVERS.

Monday, February 18 — Voting for the classic film choice begins
Monday, February 25 — Both film choices are announced
Monday, March 4 — Each site must have their final representatives selected, the design challenge officially begins!
Monday, April 1 — All entries must be received to submit for judging
Monday, April 8 — Judges’ scores and comments should be in, and the winner will be announced!

My pleasure.  I tend to look forward to yearly events like award shows and all-star games.  Sometimes you pay close attention, sometimes you don't, but either way it's usually good for a little fun and excitement.  As long as the Battle Royal provides that, I'll try to put in my work to keep the tradition going.

After winning it all last year, EFX calls upon an entirely new lineup to retain that Battle Royal Championship!  Perhaps the most exciting story of the Cover Site Battle Royal so far is the return of Kylumi.  With two of the cover community's most beloved members in Wysmommy and Chefjoe right alongside, we have three reasons to believe that the Championship is staying right where it is!

I wasn't able to download the resources either. However, Moviegrafix has quite a few images for both Argo and Titanic that hoofer posted.

I found some great Scooby Doo images at 5000PX .... so at least it look as though I will gain a few points for image quality...wooot!!!

I guess, after the animation competition I'll be going into this on a high. I really wish I could drop out, but then efx would be a designer short, I promise to all I'll do my best, honestly. Sorry to those of you upset over my being chosen.

Don't know if it will make you feel any better, but I'm nervous as well. With all of the amazing designers entering this time around it is hard not to be just a wee bit intimidated. Try to keep in mind this is suppose to be all in fun. Just do your best. Really that is all we can ask of ourselves. And try to remember, the efx team wouldn't have asked you to represent them if they didn't have confidence in your abilities. That should be a nice ego booster right there.  

I'm hoping kylumi can take it for us this year. Go kylumi, go kylumi, go kylumi!!
