It's very, very hard to convey the tone of this movie, but I think you nailed it -- as usual!

This is a particularly excellent balancing act from you, Curt!

What'd you think of the movie? I probably went in with the wrong expectations and couldn't quite get on board -- should have waited to see your cover first so I'd be in the right mindset going in!

Thanks Tim I always appreciate feedback from you, I found it a fun watch but I do like these kinds of films too.

To avoid spoilers let me keep it simple and not draw conclusions as much of the film is wide open to interpretation by intent of course.

I'd sum it up as a whimsical but clever exploration of aging, death, loneliness... imagine if the fragile thread of sanity unraveled inside a David Lynch-ian world of weirdness.

Another way to think of it would be to take a lifetime of memories, drop them in a blender, then pour them into a uncomfortable, romantic horror movie, about cerebral self reflection on how life slips through our fingers.
