Back when the superhero contest was a thing, I started a Doctor Strange cover that strangely (pun intended) turned into me doing an entire MCU collection (and fiddling with akvis for the first time... hooray multitasking). Here's the start of the first one... Iron Man

Before anyone asks, I'm planning to leave the spines (and possibly the backs) devoid of any bluray or UHD logo, that way they will work for either. Seeing as how Disney has not put everything out on 4k yet, I look at this as futureproofing. lol

Is this saturation any better? I'm divided. Part of me feels it's too dark, but then another likes it.

Getting the artwork to look right can be tough, especially when trying to get a comic book effect. I'm struggling with an image, at the moment, on my Ant-Man cover.  

Just don't give up. I'm sure you will come up with something that looks amazing!

Okay, so this week has been kinda crazy. Hopefully next week I will be able to have more time to work on these, but was able to squeeze a few minutes in today to toy with the colors a bit. So, it comes with questions though. I'm going to first post where it was (granted, it can be seen above, but wanted it to be closer. lol) and then two other versions... not sure if either of these are actually better. HELP!!! lol

I know you are going for a comic look on Iron Man, but perhaps try something besides a sketch? On the gold colors the pencil sketch looks nice, but on some of the blacks and dark colors it looks a little washed out.

If I had to pick between the 3 images, I would probably say - option A.. The first (previous post, I think) might be a bit too dark, but the third one (B) is washed out.

I feel for you. Looks like the image you chose is a tough one.

Might try using a different image. The parts where it looks washed out on the original image, there is fog, so it kinda messes with things...

Toyed with it some more, changed the Iron Man image,... I think I like this one better. I think the colors and levels and lighting and saturation all work better with this one (not as much variation from one area to the other). What do you guys think?

I had the saturation down too far on them. Readjusted those, added synopsis and 2nd screen bar. Any better?

I think Tony is still a bit dark, IMHO.
