It was a typo, moviebug. I meant: "I'm the cinephile, man". There's a comma missing. It's part of the "subplot" C and I deviated to but I'm presemptuous by admitting I'm a cinephile because I don't descriminate films(ok, I'm reticent to watch films with explicit gay contente on it. Nothing against gays. I just don't like to watch that stuff. Lesbians any day of the week, hour f the day, second of the minute, though) and I've watched a great amount of what you can call auteur cinema, independant cinema, italian, japanese, french films of their golden age. Korean cinema is now a powerhouse in Asia, beating Japan. South America has some beatiful auteurs(Carlos Reygadas, Amate Escalante, Pablo Larrin come to mind). Nollywood is at his worst in cinema history. 99% of Hollywood films are absolute crap. The only american cinema worth watching is the lower budget movies.

Director:

My Thoughts:
Okay, I was in awe from this film. Gina Carano played an awesome role along side some true star talent of an all star cast. This one's just an instant classic right off release. Great Movie from start to finish. If you have not caught this one yet, grab a copy at your local blockbuster.

Movie of the Day: May 5, 2018
Maniac (2012)

Genre:
Horror, Thriller

Storyline:
As he helps a young artist with her upcoming exhibition, the owner of a mannequin shop's deadly, suppressed desires come to the surface.

Director:
Franck Khalfoun

Writers:
Alexandre Aja ... (screenplay), Grégory Levasseur ... (screenplay), Joe Spinell ... (original screenplay)

Stars:
Elijah Wood, Nora Arnezeder, America Olivo

My Thoughts:
Alright, first off, this entire film is seen in a 1st person view, which makes it totally awesome anyway. That's real unique how you can totally give yourself away to this character played by (Elijah Wood), and even become more bound to the plot and narrative of the film until you reach the very end because you can really feel like you're the character themselves. This one is just crazy, sadistic, & downright insane. It actually made me laugh the entire film though at how nuts this guy is. Lol, I promise you, please go and watch this. The spooky this guy gives off, also played by the very talented and I hoped totally not this nuts in real life (Elijah Wood), will have you in tears with terror and laughter all at once. If you have never seen it, I know this is one you'll be glad's on my list. Your're welcome. This is just crazy! Check it out now.

1. Time Trap (2017)

Genre:
Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

Storyline:
A group of students become trapped inside a mysterious cave where they discover time passes differently underground than on the surface.

Director:
Mark Dennis, Ben Foster

Writers:
Mark Dennis

Stars:
Andrew Wilson, Cassidy Gifford, Brianne Howey

My Thoughts:
Alright, this was actually a very surprising film too me....I came across it and decided to check it out and I promise you this has actually been one of the better sci-fi films i've watched since 2014, or atleast from a scientific view that is. All in all a great film and it keeps you wanting to stay to the very end after you start to see that you'll have plenty of unanswered questions that you most likely won't get answers to until the end of the film. So, for that very eerie reason, I recommend this one ladies and gentleman. I would check this out guys and gals.

Available oniine through digital retail purchase.

2. The Hurricane Heist (2018)

Genre:

Director:
Rob Cohen

Scott Windhauser (screenplay by), Jeff Dixon

Stars:
Toby Kebbell, Maggie Grace, Ryan Kwanten

My Thoughts:
Let's see, where do I start. The action in this film just doesn't stop. Pulse pounding action in every scene. A superb all star cast and a plot to put you on the edge of your seat! See this one tonight if you can. You will not be disappointed.

Genre:

Storyline:

Director:
Nicolas Winding Refn

Writers:
Nicolas Winding Refn, Mary Laws, Polly Stenham

Stars:
Elle Fanning, Christina Hendricks, Keanu Reeves

My Thoughts:
Okay after watching "Enemy" probably about a week or so ago I was just fascinated behind the idea that many of the movies we watch, well most people don't even realize the movies true hidden meaning....I watched this one a day or so after watching "Enemy"....Most of the movies I watch are mind-boggling anyway so when I come upon a film that can catch my eye I love that....This film is riveting and it will challenge your intellect abruptly....I should warn you though, unless you ask me, I thought you'll find the hidden meaning behind this masterpiece....Lol....But yup guys, this one should be checked out if you have not seen it already and if you have watch it again because I have a high confidence that you got the message of the film wrong....As always, i'm Moviebugg and i'm the friendliest guy you'll ever meet...Quote Unquote....LOL!!  :-S  :D  :-=

You would love it chouette, by the end you would be asking yourself "Why in God's name did I watch that?" and answering yourself back "I have no earthly idea!" but compared to watching the film that would seem like a perfectly normal conversation.

Movie of the Day: August 21, 2018
Adrift (2018)

Genre:
Action, Adventure, Drama

Storyline:
A true story of survival, as a young couple's chance encounter leads them first to love, and then on the adventure of a lifetime as they face one of the most catastrophic hurricanes in recorded history.

Director:
Baltasar Kormákur

Writers:
Aaron Kandell, Jordan Kandell, David Branson Smith

Stars:
Shailene Woodley, Sam Claflin, Grace Palmer

My Thoughts:
Hi again....Well lets see, I will start out by saying that this film should be more of chou's style....I thought I should add her something in here and I actually loved this film. Okay, honestly I am sort of a romantic when it comes too movies but the film must be great. With that being said, this film is a must see for anyone who is a fan of well told true story films with a hint of romance. This film is amazing without having any of those fancy effects we love to see. I will be honest when I first saw the trailer on my youtube subscribed trailer page I was ecstatic to see another movie of this sort....The plot is up and down and you must really pay attention to detail to understand this film as it plays on the back and forth thing with the time of the film....But other than giving this film your full attention it will be a sure inspiration to the majority who go out to see this one. I am lucky to be in that bunch. Once again, thanks guys and more films coming your way.

I generally dislike survival movies on sight, this has the added sin of being a romance to boot so... not a chance in hell I will watch it...

Okay, with that said here we go. Wow, "Black Water"; let me just say this film is a dandy too see. Just amazing camera work and acting. I hate it was called a B-Film though, because its way better than any Hollywood film I have ever seen before. The picture is amazing. So please don't do one until I do mines. Thanks my friends. Okay, now please go pick this movie up at your local blockbuster if they even have it. It took me some hunting to find this one on film, so if you don't find it, you can always inbox me and ask me for it if we are friends on here.
