I often get this a lot in websites I visit. The best horror films you've never seen. the best music of the 90's you never heard. the best wtf movies you've never seen.....and this goes on and on...

I mean. i get what they're trying to get. They're trying to get hits but you open these pages and you've seen it all. No real surprises.

Anyone experienced this already?

The ...you've never seen..thing?

To be fair, I only know which movies are Criterion by the covers being made here so I might use ONE hand because 99.9% of the time, I never saw or will ever see any of these movies. So no toes either I'm afraid.

That's a tough ask CT. I would have a very hard time with a list like that because if I don't plan on watching it I wouldn't know the title.

Agree with the Panda. Although you can put any art-house movies on that list and even though I can't name one in particular, we can say Natalie Portman will be part of it.

Oh yes, better list!

1) I will definitely start with "Black Swan" as I almost destroyed my Blu-ray disc after seeing it, but didn't as I paid good money for it.

2) Then it would be "Enemy". I couldn't break this disc as it was borrowed from the library, lol

3) "The Fountain". As much as I hated it, I remember many parts of that screwed up movie.

I'm sure I have others, but those are my top 3!

My most recent "I can't believe I actually watched that whole movie" was.....

Wetlands (2013)

I could watch any of the movies on CT's or Danielle's list all day long over that one.

I knew if anyone had seen it it would be you Alien. I was going to turn it off every few minutes but then something would make me think there was something coming that would somehow redeem it. Nope never happened.

I have had that same experience on a lot of films Vince, you keep thinking "I've come this far, maybe... but then nada!"

Let's face it. Most films disappoint. It's not every day you pick a movie and it's a masterpiece and meets your expectations. very rarely this occurs.

I always encounters the tagline movies you shouldn't miss, not movies you'e never seen.
