Yeah it's too bad that the Celtics don't have really great shooters to capitalize on Irving's amazing 1-1 where he attracts like 2, 3 guys and just passes and most of the time Brown, Tatum, whatever, just don't capitalize. The only reliable shooter is Horford. He does the simple things effectively and Boston needs, especially come playoff time to start hitting these open shots.

Boston is great defensively but come playoff time, we have to hit these open shots. We cannot afford to have the percentage of field goals we have now which I belive is like 30 something percent.

Oh and I dond't mention this but as a Patriots fan I didn't understand why Gronk wasn't ejected as well. He'll probably be suspended. Hope not because he's a great player.

They will probably fine him, he may not get suspended but if he does it will just be one game.

Man another close win in hostile territory Bengals always play us hardcore, game was bang-bang brutal, next up the Ravens come to Pitt that is another AFC North rivalry and it will be a vicious division game too.

Then the dreaded Pats come to Pitt, hell of a way to end the season, first two of our toughest rivals in a row and one of them on the road, then New England comes marching in.

Have to go to Houston for the last game in the regular season and whip up on the Texans, that game should be a cakewalk after these last three...

Patriots lose to the Dolphins 20-27, I'm elated  :D

Best part, as always was the after game interview with Coach Belichick he's always funny with the short answers but after a loss he is particularly annoyed by all questions and responds very succinctly while showing zero expression or emotion.

One quick example -

Reporter: Can you explain what happened with that on-side kick at the end of the game?

Coach Belichick: They recovered it.

He cracks me up  :D

I knew you would be here happy as hell. I knew it...

Sometimes the questions are stupid though. "Can you explain to me this?". "What happened?"

Don't the reporters have eyes?

That being said we're gonna go to Pittsburgh next week to snatch the 1rst place in the conference.

Bray don't lose twice!!!

They asked because it was a really silly looking kick even for a on-side kick, it was really slow, he just tapped it right up the middle at the receiving team, never seen that done like that before, the announcers were all mystified as to what the thinking was as they had never seen it done like that before either.

So my impression was the press wanted to get a feel for what Coach was thinking when he called that and I guess if it had went as intended or if perhaps there was some kind of goof by special teams and they had not done it how he wanted, that type of thing.

I think it's pretty clear what they wanted, but the kick was awfully slow.

They wanted to kick it very gently so at the 10 yard line everbody would be fighting for the possession.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Didn't work out. But he's proved he's a great coach.

We'll see. The Patriots are already in the playoffs so they got to be prepared for whatever comes. Hope they can win in Pittsburgh so they can win the conference. If that doesn't happen, they gotta be prepared for any oponent.

Irving is more than half the team. But it's good to lose every now and then in the regular season. Motivates them more

I thought I would be nice and post it for her so she can plan her weekend around it.

I'm going with the home teams to win in three out of four Chiefs, Falcons, Jags, Saints.

The Rams will get upset I think, the Falcons can take them even in LA, soon we will see.

Go Patriots!, I hope they embarrass the Jags and send them back to FL with their little spotted tails between their legs.

Yeah, it was a buzzer beater play. The guy literally entered the end zone at 00:00 seconds remaining.

It was a back and forth 4th quarter with the field goal attempts but that's the beauty of football. An amazing pass, the defense might be to blame as well(heck, i'm no expert in defense), a little bit of luck but it was one emotional game

I saw all 4 games this weekend and it's not about CT being a Patriots fan alone that I think this. I feel the patriots are better than the Jaguars. But you can't concede 3 touchdowns in the first quarter in a playoff game. The Steelers still could've got the win but I tend to think that a game is what the quarterback makes of it. It's the most important position in football(at least for me), because the qb has to call the shots , he is the one that has to decide, have the vision of who to get the ball to, and although Big Ben made what, 400+ yards he made some clear cut mistakes. I sincerely wish the Patriots would've won( I bet 50 dollars on them dammit!!!lol) but the Jags are gonna be a tough cookie in Boston.

I think the Patriots weren't really tested still in the playoff. Respect for the Titan but they are not a top 4 NFl team, so next week we'll see what the Patriots are made of.

on the other conference the Eagles have an amazing defense. Amazing!!! I mean they could have lost the game with those 4 attempts for goal, but they stood strong and although offenively they struggled to score their defense was amazing.

So it'll be two tough games I think next week. Nothing is for granted in the playoffs as we've seen very close games(except the Titans) so i expect it'll be very close next week as well

I favour the home teams but who knows.

Knew they were not as good as everyone thought, they looked like the Jags of old right there which is why they have no trophies, just a bunch of wannabes who got lucky to get past the Steelers.

Even with Gronk out, and that was a bad hit to the head on him I never approve of those no matter who is doing it, plus it looked kind of intentional really but none the less they could still do nothing to stop the scoring of the GOAT, lmao.

The Jags berated the Steelers for acting over-confident before the game, wonder if they will be as quick to chastise themselves after some of those media interview comments they made today where they were acting like the Pats were already beaten, lol.

Karma is wonderful when it happens to someone else.
