If the new Star Trek Discovery TV Series doesn't appeal to you or maybe you just need a change of (s)pace, then Fox may have something coming soon for you.

Fox will launch a new 13 episode science-fiction TV series later this year called the "The Orville". The show is created by and stars Seth MacFarlane ("Family Guy" "Ted") as Ed Mercer, the titular commander of the starship USS Orville. Adrianne Palicki ("Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.") portrays MacFarlane's executive officer and ex-wife, Kelly Grayson, with a ragtag crew rounding out the cast. Think "Galaxy Quest" meets "Family Guy" and you're on the right track.

Your intro was doing well until you mentioned "Seth MacFarlane", then you lost my interest very quickly, lol - That will be a pass for a zillion reasons!

Not even for A Million Ways To Die In The West

I find Seth MacFarlane's humour very clever, occasionally childish, and often smutty. I reckon this series will be more of the same type of humour so as a fan I'm looking forward to it.
