I don't show the source files as much of late and I know some of these titles look like they are very simple images but I assure you in most cases they are not, these Criterion films can be quite challenging due to their age an extremely limited resources none of which are ever hi-res.

For this one, this view is featured in the title shot at the beginning of the film and the only mid-res image I could find of it had this guy in it and is a day shot --the film shows a night shot.

So there was the removing of the man and a lot of other artifacts and reflections, extending the sky, then converting it to a night shot and adding in the moon and the characters.

Totally agree. That does not look like an easy challenge, but it turned out very nice! I'm always amazed how you can think outside the box, a great talent when making these types of covers!
