Finding ourselves temporarily between TV series, I convinced my wife to watch this one last night. After about 10 minutes, I was bored to tears. My wife didn't say anything, so we kept watching. When I woke up to the sound of my wife yelling, "It's Over!" I realized I had rolled over & simply gone to sleep. I think I made it through about 40 minutes or so. The first xXx had a story & a plot, more or less. This just seemed like an excuse to run it through one more time. Very shallow character development & ridiculously thin plot. Not at all as good as the first one.

Although I didn't fall asleep watching it, I did find this one boring... I really liked the second one but this seemed like it was all about explosions and gun fire.

Correct you guys are, did you notice the evolution?

Clearly they are trying to take this in the direction of "The Fast and Furious" franchise, you know add lots of characters and tons of effects.

Look at just how many un-needed characters they had in this one, it's supposed to be about Xander Cage not "The Xander Team", I was very disappointed in this.

To be honest though my gut clenched up after I saw all those character posters come out, I knew that would be what it would end up being, Vin is very predictable and he has star power which means he gets his way plus once Hollywood gets a horse leading a race they ride it until it's a skeleton.
