Tomorrow morning there's going to be a big Star Wars announcement on Good Morning America. ABC teased the big event in a video that they posted on Twitter that you can watch below. According to video tease, the announcement will be a part of the 40th anniversary of Star Wars. and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Rey (Daisy Ridley) will be there for the event.

There's no information on what this announcement could be but it's being billed as "the Star Wars announcement 40 years in the making." Could it be the first teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi? After all, Good Morning America previously premiered the trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. This big announcement comes only a few days before Star Wars Celebration, which is taking place in Orlando.

Whatever it is, it's gotta be something huge because Hamill and Ridley are showing up for it. Do any of you have any ideas on what it could be? If it's not a trailer, could they be making some kind of big reveal for The Last Jedi? I guess we'll just have to wait and see! I'm excited to find out what it is, though!

According to Good Morning America, it was actually an announcement for a new Force For Change charity contest to raise money for UNICEF and the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Yeah I saw that this AM and it is NOT from "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...." so they can expect me to treat their next BIG announcement like "the little boy who cried wolf" and ignore them.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who is (justifiably) annoyed at this.  I am all for a good cause, but this was just a bait-and-switch...
