Alright, so dipping my feet back into the water after a few years and relearning photoshop on a brand new version... figured I'd start fairly small. I know this movie is still about 4 months from theaters, but I am really excited about it. Anyways, here's the start.

Few updates... got the credits typed out. Not sure of the placement, screen added to back and placeholder for special features and specs.

Very nice work so far.  As for the movie, I hope to get the chance to see it in 3D (because some of the trailer scenes look custom built for theater 3D).

Might could lighten the characters a little so they pop out more, simple mock-up here with a duplicate of your image set to linear light and masked onto the character areas.

Like not the proper angle crooked? Or how the letters kind of go up and down? If the 2nd, it did that when I shrank it to preview size for some reason...

He might be noticing the difference between the text being rotated vs skewed?

The title for example is skewed not rotated.

Exactly the 2nd. The letters seem to go up and down. I don't know if that's from them being rotated or indeed when you shrank the image to preview size.

You can see my doubt very clearly if you enlarge the image and then look at the beginning of the second line of credits:

Where it says "ROBERT" you can notice that the first R is taller than the last R (the one in ERT).

But if it's good on you PSD document ignore my concern.

Added the synopses and toyed with the credits some more. Wound up going with skewed rather than how I had them rotated. Still have the rotated version though, so if this looks funny PLEASE let me know. lol. Also took ct's suggestion (and learned something new in the process.) although probably going to play with it a little more. Just wanted to show current progress.

What C said + I'd probably take down a point or two on the credits as well. Seems to be a big discrepancy between the size of the synopsis and the size of the credits.

I love the design though. The front cover I really like it as is.

Great update. I do agree with ct - the synopsis does look a little crowded at the moment.

Shortened synopsis to give it a bit more room to breathe and darkened a few small spots on the front (her left hand, etc) mostly towards the bottom and edges. Any better?

I think you can go smaller and get away from the condensed font which would be better, then increase the leading some to get better readability line to line.

Since you are doing angles why not angle it too, this preview looks small but at full size it would be very easy to read.

I like the synopsis on an angle like this to match the credits. Your last updates looks good as well.
