Hello everyone..... so the first WIP for the year !

So I started with my base outline...not really too many images to go with..so found this b/w image and have used this as my initial base.

After composite render...not sure how this is going to pan out...but let's see..

What it could possibly look like on a cover..not really happy with the current original TT...so im gonna work on that later...but here's just a preview

Yup, sorry was a bit over zealous to get it out.....

Anyway... so a bit of tweaking here and there.... and a new update

Good start so far! Is there any reason to have him not centered?

I also think you need to rework the title, that texture mixed with the background doesn't work imo. If you're planning to keep the background color, then you should consider having a lighter or darker title. You can also increase the b/g saturation and then a lighter title will work better.

Also, keep in mind that Charlie's image is too dark when compared with the b/g. Perhaps you could work the skin tones and the clothes, adding a white layer with low opacity above the image? This or, like I said before, dark a bit more the b/g.

One more thing related with the light. The b/g is foggy but then you have Charlie's image with a few light flares on his clothes. Don't forget to work that.

Please don't be offended with my post, I'm just trying to help giving you my 2 cents on your topic.

I like it but before I read Arkflips comments I was going to say that Charlie is very dark compared to the background, this is what is making the composite not look right at the moment I think, try lowering the opacity of Charlie between 90-100 this will bring in some colours from the background to try and blend him in a bit more.

Looks like a fine start my friend, although Charlie seem somewhat desaturated compared to the backround, bit that could well be my mmonitor versus yors, great start!...

Like the new update. I do find that the title blends in a bit too much in a few areas.

I like the new updates better. I tend to agree with Vince, but keep at it. You're on to a really good start (or somewhat re-start really, lol)!

How about moving Charlie up (if you can) and then have the title over the top of him as the title is a bit hard to read at the moment.
