Ok, first off this is a Very crude start, really just looking for the right feel and inspiration. Not even sure at this point if these will have a "overall" theme or what that may be just yet, I need to get the vibe right first, anyhow a start...

I like the hooks, and the creepy dude with the needles all over his head.  

Maybe it's just me, but the background doesn't seem all that scary.

Definitely an original start. I can't wait to see where you go with this.

Nice start Chef! I agree with wys, I feel the background need to be darker.

I agree I'd go with a black grey scheme for the background and maybe add some shadows and smoke, I quite enjoyed this series looking forward to more.

First off chefjoe, I'm a really big fan of the Hellraiser Franchise. What you got going so far is absolute WOW!!! I can see all the different ideas you have for this... I like the background, but not the background color. I think black or a dark gray would be better. The chains hanging straight down, maybe in silhouette with glisining highlights? Then to finish it off, either the Pinhead Cenobite as the centerpiece or the puzzle box. Just my 2 cents... but then again, I haven't made a cover in years so what do I know?!? LOL. You do incredible work chefjoe, and you really don't need any of my suggestions. Just thinking out loud brother. Anyways, I'm really looking forward to seeing where you go with this. I may have to ultimately change all of my hellraiser covers!

Cool, Thanks a bunch you guys, The background is something I'm building from the ground up,  a damaged wall like the pic below, with lath visible and the light from the outside shining through. It's much harder than it looks I want dim light trails from the spacing of the lath, but so far I haven't been able to figure that out, as I said a rough start. PinHead will be the focus for all the fronts with various cenobites ready to assist him in raising hell...what do you think. Again you guys are fabulous with your support, makes my job more worthwhile! hehe! Ya know it only took about 3 hours to render Pinhead, hehe!

Here's an update, fixed the wall and figured out the light rays, kinda..tweeked and tweeked, still miles to go....

That looks much better! I really like it.  

One small thing. On the bottom left there is a hard edge to the fog, you can see the line.

Maybe try and make Clive Barker stand out a little more, it's quite hard to see that it says Clive.

I think it looks fine either way, just thought I would see what you thought about it ... and at the end of the day it's your cover so go with what you think looks best

Don't feel that way saron my friend, I appreciate all opions, or I wouldn't be in the wip. You're preview didn't enlarge for me, and I wanted to see them side by side, now that I have you're absolutely right and I'll adjust as needed, Thanks btw!!!!!

I'd get rid of the light fixtures and make the cracks in the wall glow more if you can, that's how the cenobites usually arrive.
