My oldest son recently bought a PlayStation VR Headset with Camera. Now, I'm not a gamer AT ALL, but this is totally cool stuff. Since we both love Star Trek, he also bought the perfect game to go with it!!

You need to take frequent breaks when playing, and my son had to force me to stop, lol

I just demoed the psvr. It is a lot of fun but not worth the cost.

I don't do games or VR

I've never bothered with any of the newer games. I'm not into role playing, at all. My absolute favorite game went obsolete when Windows stopped running on top of DOS. Jetfighter II was phenomenal. I loved it & would play all day, if I was allowed. I had an F16 Joystick system with separate weapons & engine control module. It took two separate game ports, yes, game ports. I broke sweat the first time I landed an F16 on a carrier at night in heavy seas. I seriously broke a sweat. The game had nominal AI & I played it so much, it eventually learned my techniques & started using them against me. I got so good at it, I started tying one hand behind my back by not using bombs on bombing missions, but missiles, instead, which had to be aimed manually, since there was no way to radar or heat signature lock them onto a ground building. I would still complete the missions.

Now, if the PlayStation VR has a flying game that actually duplicates REAL flying, in a REAL jet model that actually exists, with a REAL joystick & not that gaming paddle crap, I'd be interested, but they stopped making realistic joysticks 20 years ago. I think some of us were getting too good at it & 'they' didn't like the idea of civilians getting that kind of training on their own.
