Started out standing in line for 45 minutes in 112º Concert started at 7:30 and it was 102º
Here are some pictures.

These were taken with my phone not good quality I know.
Concert was great, the first set was not real great they only played 1 of their own songs.
Now the second set all they played was their own hits. The encore they played (in my opinion their best hit)
25 or 6 to 4. Then I had to explain the meaning of the song to her. As we were leaving the temp was 98º and it was 10PM.
The only thing I didn't like was the temp.

As far back as I can recall, they have ALWAYS finished their concerts with 25 or 6 to 4. While I was in the USAF, I went to a Chicago concert. It was about 1972. I went with a bunch of friends (guys & chicks) all packed into a minibus. We traveled from Sacramento, where I was based, to San Jose, where the concert was open air, in a football stadium. ON the way, we stopped & bought about 10 gallons of hard apple cider. BY the time we got to the concert & found our way to seating, which was a blanket on the grass at about the 20 yard line opposite end from the stage, so the band looked like ants, I was totally blotto. I remember sitting down on the ground, then promptly laying down... & the next thing I knew, I was awakening to the sound of 25 or 6 to 4. The finale. I had slept a drunken stupor through the entire concert! :-l

Lincoln is just a bit north east of Sacramento. Lincoln didn't exist when you were in the AF. North of Roseville and Rocklin.

No idea where you got Lincoln out of my comment, Wrench. I don't have any idea which school we went to. I didn't care, at the time. I just know it was at a stadium, IN San Jose, not 10, 20 0r 30 miles away.

Lincoln is the town that Thunder Valley Casino is in and its near Sac. Nothing about a school.

OK. My bad. I had assumed your comment about Lincoln was in response to my immediately preceding post about seeing Chicago in San Jose in '72, since you referred to it. I have no clue what you're talking about, so I'm going to stop trying. My apologies.

That is awesome Wrench, I would love to see one of their concerts one day, but I'm thinking there is very little chance they ever come to Canada. I love 25 or 6 to 4. I didn't know that song CT, but loved it also. They make great music, that's for sure!

That story of yours Fog made me laugh, too funny! Serves you right to drink silly like that, lol
