LMAO, they finally got their first win this week but it's too little too late me thinks.

The 49ers went down in flames, they are too used to playing lame teams in the sun, and were not ready for hard hitting east coast football in the cold and rain.

I predict Jan-Feb games out here will be really hard on their little candy asses lol.

It depends. If they win the NFC they will be at home in California. This year the league is insane. There are a plethora of great teams

Re: The OFFICIAL SPORTS thread

Postby alienmem » Dec Wed 04, 2019 1:31 pm

So I'm going to break down the games of the of this week and give my take on the most importante games

WEEK 14
COWBOYS(6-6) @ BEARS(6-6)      Cowboys are great individual players but they can't win a frikkin game. Bears aren't great neither so I actually think Chicago will win. They play at home. Cowboys have an awful road record.

PANTHERS(5-7) @ FALCONS(3-9)   Panthers win. Easy or not they'll get the job done. Falcons have been terrible

COLTS(6-6) @ BUCCANEERS(5-7)   I don't know about this one. Tampa sometimes surprises me both ways. The Colts aren't what they were last year. I'd say Tampa

DOLPHINS(3-9) @ JETS(4-8)     Jets will get this one easily.

49ERS(10-2) @ SAINTS(10-2)    One of the bog games of the weekend. Honestly I think the 49ers will win convincingly. They have the best offense and the best defense statisticwise. I thought they were going to be
decimated by the almighty Ravens. Didn't happen and I do not sincerely see the Saints, even at home, having a 10% chance of winning this.

LIONS(3-8-1) @ VIKINGS(8-4)  Vikings have one of the best rosters in the league. They're thrash the Lions

BRONCOS(4-8) @ TEXANS(8-4)   Texans will win easy

RAVENS(10-2) @ BILLS(9-3)    Hahaha...Bills have a great quarterback. A solid team. They are one game behind Baltimore and they play at home. For all the hype that the Ravens have, and justfiably so, the run has to come to an end. I beliee the Bills have a chance but I trust mnore in Baltimore.

BENGALS(1-11) @ BROWNS(5-7)  Who cares? Browns win

REDSKINS(3-9) @ PACKERS(9-3) Packers win

CHARGERS(4-8) @ JAGUARS(4-8) Jaguars win

STEELERS(5-7) @ CARDINALS(3-8-1) Steelers win

TITANS(7-5) @ RAIDERS(6-6)       I don't have an opinion. The Raiders can either blow them out or lose by 20. I don't know.

CHIEFS(8-4) @ PATRIOTS(10-2)     Patriots have not lost in Foxborough for more than a year now. It will continue that way.

SEAHAWKS(10-2) @ RAMS(7-5)      The Rams are been underperforming since being to the superbowl last year. Expect the Rams to get a win on this one. Almost 90% certain they will.

I think the Saints will beat the 9ers, we will see.

I have watched the 49er's last two games and I'm not as impressed with their ability as others seem to be.

To me they look like the Eagles of a couple years ago when things were going their way, not becasue they had skill, just a shit load of luck and yes they lucked into a SB win... but look at them since.

Everyone was saying they were for real too... guess not huh.

The Eagles whole season is hovering on life support following Sunday's humiliating 37-31 loss to the Miami Dolphins, I can't stop laughing at that one, Carson Wentz is a joke too in my view.

Things aren't looking so bright for the Eagles former Super Bowl MVP either. He is/was the Jaguars new quarterback (glad they got him, not a Jags fan either lol), well guess what Mr. Nick Foles got benched during Sunday's home loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The home fans were booing him too, which is as bad as it gets in the NFL, the Jags are winless in the games Foles has started since coming there.

Foles fumbled twice, including once for a touchdown, and has generally played poorly since returning from a broken clavicle a few weeks ago.

He signed a 4-year, $88 million deal this off-season, including $50.1 million in guarantees.

Jags are dumb asses, I said from the get go he was just a lucky wonder and not a skilled NFL QB, he is nothing IMO, why they gave him such a contract is well beyond my ability to understand it.

Wentz is awful. Fowles had no pressure being backup when he played. They're both two of the worst QBs in the NFL.

Imo Mahomes is the best. Brady is 42, doesn't have an offense to help him. Rogers is good but put him pressure in the pocket and he's a no show. Lamar has been great but I've never seen a QB have sustained success and basically be a running back that passes somewhat ok. Wilson is good. I like the Buffalo QB. I like Arizona's QB.

We'll see. I have a feeling the Rams upset the Seawahks and maybe the Bills beat the Ravens and 49ers the Saints.

Let's see. Going to be good games

Should be some interesting games, I like Mahomes he has the most potential of out of the new QB's. He takes chances though, that's a bad habit in the NFL, generally ends badly, like RGIII for example and others like him.

Like you said running QB's are play makers but they generally get sidelined eventually with injuries, Cam Newton recently for example.

Wilson will eventually pay the price too, it's just a matter of time, the odds are never with a running QB look at how badly Rogers has been hurt.

The ones who last, like Brady are smart and they find ways to beat you with their fast thinking not their legs, in the NFL a runner never gets faster that includes RB & WR's but the guys chasing you are younger every year and sooner or later they will catch you no matter who you are.

The rub with that is if the only skill you develop as a NFL QB is escaping and running then after a few years when age catches up you become nothing.

Brady never fell into that trap and that is why he is still playing.

All the runners have short careers show me one running QB who has played 15 years, most don't make it 10 or even 5... same as the projected career for a NFL RB or WR.

True. And people keep making Lamar comparisons with Mike Vick but they forget. Mike Vick never won jack! He made some pro-bowls I think but titles. Zilch, nada!!!

Yes, that's what's Brady is good at. And I don't believe it's totally his fault that the offense is faultering. Ok, he has been cautious and been throwing the ball a lot out of bounds but he doesn't trust his receivers. The only reliable guy on the Patriots offense who is elite is Edelman. That guy is amazing.

Ah come on. That's BS. Who needs to spy on the Bengals to get a win? They have literally 0 wins!

The statement is there is a DOC on the Patriots and the documentraians filmed the side of the field.
That is against regulation if you don't ask for permission. In no way is this cheating. Everyone can watch the game on tv or dvd or blu ray or whatever they use. Let's be honest here.

Also that source C, is TMZ!!! lolol

What was done was illegal. It is not cheating though. To me cheating is obtaining an unfair advantage over your opponent so the outcome of the game is altered in your favor.

None of that applies here, let's get frank. :)

The problem is they have been fined and lost draft picks before for filming sidelines when they "were" trying to cheat, so the optics are bad for them.

I too think it was incidental but that may not matter in the end.

Talking about the Patriot's most important game of the year and the wild card round this weekend I have the feeling it's going to end up like this:

BUF @ HOU     I think Buffallo will win in Houston. I like the QB. I think Houston is full of ups and downs.

TEN @ NE      If New England lose it'll be major news across the football world. Maybe the end of a dynasty. Hope NE pulls it ff

MIN @ NO      Cannot see anything besides a Saints victory

SEA @ PHI     Who would've though and 8-8 team barely making it would contend against a team who could've been the #1 in the conference and thereby not even play the Wildcard round. I don't like Wentz. I do like the Eagles coach. They haven't been good all year but it's playoff time. I give the Seahawks a slight edge but I wouldn't be admired if the Eagles passed. I do think it's going to be a very close game.
