Interestingly enough Venus's first serve percentage was much higher than Kvitová's,
but that battle with Muguruza took a lot out her and it looked like the heat also got to her after they closed the roof.

It was fun to watch these two slug it out.

With that said, hats off to Venus, at 37 she's still kicking ass.

For me Sampras is the best player ever. Records are to be broken but he was always my favorite player. No one ,even now has a serve like Sampras and his style of game while not new at the time has ceased to exist. No one does serve volley anymore. I loved watching him play because I knew he'd wrap things up quickly..Serve volley point!!!

Nadal broke him at will, think that shook him up, it's tough when you can't at least hold serve.

I don't know if Ms Keys can win or not, I think she has a good chance to win but one never knows for sure in these things.

I was a huge Agassi fan, one of my girlfriends took me to an exhibition game in D.C. back in the '80s where he played McEnroe, still got pictures of it somewhere.

It is awesome to see 4 Americans in the semifinals, it's the first time it ever happened I think.

I'm gonna wacth the game now but I'm super surprised Del Potro won. Not because he doesn't have the game but because he had a marathon 5 setter with Thiem  which he should've lost If the crowd wasn't lifting up Del Potro like crazy.

Roger said in a after game interview that he was just not feeling it and he sure played liked he was way off his normal game, missing on numerous occasions shots that should have been automatic points for him, his serve was off too even though he had several aces in the match, overall he just seemed sluggish and not as aggressive as he should have been to me.

My dance card will be all NFL tonight starting at 8:30PM EST, when the opening game of the 2017 Season Kicks-off, at that point I will be glued to the TV for it's entirety lmao.

Well it's Keys vs Stephens in the final, I'm kind of leaning toward Keys if she has a big game she will be hard to handle.

Something not really widely promoted is the paydays, they mean more than the trophies and titles to the competitors and is the main reason they even play in grand slam events.

Yeah Stephens surprised me. She has a solid game. She defends every single ball. She makes very few errors. keys is gonna have to pray pretty pretty well and not make all of those unforced errors if she wants to get passed Stephens. I dunno. I like Keys agressive attacking style more but I can't put a finger on any of the two to win.

I think it's a 50/50 matchup. Maybe I'm wrong. Nobody expected madison to win 6-1 6-2 so easily against CoCo. I expected her to win but not tha easily. Also I didn't expect Stephens to win over venus and she clearly was more level headed at the end when it counted the most. She shows maturity and composure and didn't fold under the pressure.

Stephens hammered Keys in a completely one sided final. Keys just has to take a breath and not go for the winner all the time. She makes too many errors and against top opponents if she isn't making winners at ease or has an opponent that defends extremly well, like Stephens, she's gonna have a hard time.

I think Sloane is playing some unbelievable tennis. She's still very youn and considering she's been out of the circuit for a long time due to injuries, if she can maintain this level she can become a serious threat to becoming a dominant force in woman's tennis. But it's all suppostions right now. there are a lot of good female players. Let's see.

Nadal vs Anderson today. It's gonna be a battle of Serves vs ability to defend well those attacks from Anderson. I've been wrong so many times and one could easily say that Nadal has 16 grand slam titles, super experient, is playing unbelievably on hard court but it's a final and Anderson has a mega serve and if he does serve very well and comes to the net and not stay at the back where Nadal has the advantage anything can happen.

Of course nadal is the favorite ...let's just hope it's a great game
