:giggle:

Knew they were not as good as everyone thought, they looked like the Jags of old right there which is why they have no trophies, just a bunch of wannabes who got lucky to get past the Steelers.

Even with Gronk out, and that was a bad hit to the head on him I never approve of those no matter who is doing it, plus it looked kind of intentional really but none the less they could still do nothing to stop the scoring of the GOAT, lmao.

The Jags berated the Steelers for acting over-confident before the game, wonder if they will be as quick to chastise themselves after some of those media interview comments they made today where they were acting like the Pats were already beaten, lol.

Karma is wonderful when it happens to someone else.

They did put up a fight though. But with Brady in the 2nd half stepping up and the Jags defense having to stay on the field for long drives they got exhausted, of course. When we got the Amendola TD, it was pretty much over. The Jags don't have the experience nor the quickness, under pressure or not, to make a drive that fast, that is a guarantee TD. It could have happened..but 2nd half patriots vs first half they adjusted to their attack much better not letting Fournette do his thing and intercepting or not letting the receivers have a lot of space to catch the ball.

But if twas a great gamee. I'm a Patriots fan but I want to give a salute to the Jags. Luck or no luck they got to the AFC final and they could have done better, which isn't to say they should have or did deserve to. I still think The Jags were 3rd seed and that's probably deserved. Let's see the Vikings-Eagles now.

I think the Vikings will edge it out...but who knows. It's a do or die game

The Eagles looked unbeatable, remains to be seen if that will be the case in two weeks or not lol.

I still think they played the wrong team that once in a lifetime, last second play for the win by the Vikings last week probably stopped the team that could have given the Eagles a better challenge.

Hey, that's the NFL some days it clicks and some days it don't.

Will Tom Brady retire?

Will Gronk Retire?

Several of the Pats coaches are leaving, they were doing that win or lose the Superbowl.

Do you think that will matter next year?

Yeah. Tom, Gronk and Bill Belichick will not leave. Not the way the season went. They had a great season nonetheless. They lost to the Eagles in what was almost a touchdown here-touchdown there game. Every run ended with a TD. Unfortunately they hit Brady at the end and it was over. TheEagles made a great season. No taking away from that.

Of course the core will stay. Belichick is pretty much the guy who handles the deffense anyway so no harm no foul in losing the coaches. This happened before. As long as we have Brady there's always a chance.

They'll certainly be in the playoffs next season. you can bet on it. They should in my opinion make some adjustments. The defense this year was not as solid.

The Eagles deserve it. They've never won a superbowl. At least give them that.

The Steelers will hopefully have their act together by next year, they are hiring a new play caller, you may or may not know Ben never got along with the last one and based on some of the stupid plays he called at crucial times toward the end of the season I can see why.

They are working out contracts early, which is good, means there should not be a repeat of the silly crap that happened in the beginning of the season last year, those kinds of dumb distractions are stupid on the part of the owners who are to blame when they allow it to happen.

All that said we will be coming for the Pats so they need to be prepared lol

I hope so. The more quality teams the league has the better. Steelers are always tough and for me, and I've said this before, they have the best all around team in terms of quality players.

I heard Laveon Bell didn't want his salary tagged or whatever and was making a hukkus about it. Will he stay?

He doesn't have a choice if he wants to play, they can tag him and he can't leave, once a player is tagged they have to play for the team that tagged them or give up all money and sit on the sideline all season there is no middle ground on that, it's to keep players from holding teams hostage on money as the NFL has salary caps and there are limits on how much money each team can spend.

He is the highest paid RB in the NFL and still wants more he is just greedy that is the main thing that is wrong with the NFL, the greed and the me-me-me attitude.

Bell did not do anything amazing last year IMO, I mean he is a good RB but he is no Jerome Bettis...

That's one more reason the Pats are a more stable team, like Brady for example in spite of the five Superbowl's he has is still not the highest paid QB in the league...

He's not? I was unaware of that fact. Well, If he isn't the top paid quarterback I suppose all the other Patriots players aren't the premiere paid players in the league as well. I mean maybe Gronk would fit into that category maybe.

Just guessing here.

Probably the coach wins more than all the players. Happens a lot in soccer. Pep Guardiola earns more than any player in Manchester City.

Yeah he's not even in the top 10.

2017 Salary Top Paid NFL QB's

1 Matthew Stafford $27,000,000
2 Derek Carr $25,000,000
3 Andrew Luck $24,594,000
4 Drew Brees $24,250,000
5 Alex Smith $23,500,000
6 Joe Flacco $22,133,333
7 Aaron Rodgers $22,000,000
8 Russell Wilson $21,900,000
9 Ben Roethlisberger $21,850,000
10 Eli Manning $21,000,000
11 Philip Rivers $20,812,500
12 Cam Newton $20,760,000
13 Matt Ryan $20,750,000
14 Tom Brady $20,500,000
15 Ryan Tannehill $19,250,000
16 Andy Dalton $16,000,000
17 Tyrod Taylor $15,250,000
18 Mike Glennon $15,000,000
19 Mitchell Trubisky $7,258,106
20 Jared Goff $6,984,418

Now that said he is still one of the top money makers over time, due to the fact he has been in the NFL for a lot of years and has commanded big money over all those years, he has been paid like near 200 million over his entire career which is way up near the top of the "overall list" but on a yearly basis his salary is well below some of the lessor known newer QB's.

Exluding endorsement deals of all types I presume which will probably be more than what he's gained as a player

His endorsements are not that high maybe 7 mil a year, his wife makes more money than he does as a supermodel, her lifetime career net worth is a staggering 380 million about twice his.

Well. Fair enough but she already retired as well. Of course one being rich is good. Two? Even better.

Honestly I don't know what the fasination was with Giselle. I don't find her that beautiful or that elegant compared to other staggering models but hey. Good for him that he can come back from training and still "train" some more!!!

Celtics are tough man. What a game last night. We don't have Kyrie, we don't have Hayward, we didn't even have Brown for most of the game and we still sent them packing!!

Hope we can grind it out against Philadelhphia.

Celtics in the house y'all.....This team is tough. We don't have our star player. We don't have another all-star. We don't even have Jaylen Brown.

We're playing with Larkin's and Ojeleye's and Baynes and a rookie(an awesome rookie,ok) and a guy who's never been a first team choice(Never had a playoff start even I think) in Rozier the III.

That play by Smart englufs what it means to be on this team. You wanna get by us, well you're gonna have to bring you A game every second 'cause we won't let our guard down.

To me Brad Stevens is the best coach in the NBA right now. What he has done with this team, especially this year is outstanding. He has no eggs and yet he's making an omlet. he's playing chess with almost no pieces at all.

Just give him the Coahc of the Year award already. Doesn't matter what happens from now on (I'm lying, of course it does!), but that won't change my opinion.
