Since you brought it up though, I wonder what was wrong with him in the first three losses... lmao

:hehe:

He was there. Golden State is just a better team. Last year Irving and Lebron won the ring over that super team.

But all things concidered, do you really think Irving is not an all-star? Is not one of the best players in the league?
No one on Earth could replace Irving and win the championship against GS.

Name one player where you take out Irving, put that player in, and the Cavs would've won the finals?

Did they? or was last year a gift?

They were down 3-1 last year, were it not for injuries and the game five suspension I don't think they would have won last year.

All those things hurt the Warriors gave the Cavs their little chance to comeback, without that "luck" they could not have done it IMO (how soon the fans forget the facts) lmao.

Oh and let's not forget that they could not get it done the first time they met in the finals either two years ago, the current series is 2-1 GS over the last three years.

Would be 3-0 GS, if not for the lucky breaks the Cavs got last year that helped them with their "insert sarcastic tone* amazing comeback, only a diehard Cavs fan would refuse to see that reality.

Might mention the fact that the Warriors beat the Cavs in both regular season meetings last year too...

In Oakland, on January 18, 2016
Cleveland Cavaliers 83, Golden State Warriors 89

In Cleveland, on December 25, 2015 they spanked them at home lol
Golden State Warriors 132, Cleveland Cavaliers 98

The NBA off-season isn’t even a week old, and it’s already crazy.

We’ve seen a trade of the No. 1 pick, heard Paul George rumors, and on Monday, the Cleveland Cavaliers announced that they have parted ways with general manager David Griffin.

On a brighter note the first NFL pre-season kickoff is in just 45 days, Booyah!

Well, there aren't champions without a little bit of luck. Sports always has luck involved.

That being said the Cavs aren't to blame if one of the warrior's players juststarts kicking people in the nuts!

They were the better team these last 3 years but in the history of the game the only thing that matters are the facts. So lasy year they broke the regular season record but they'll go down as the only team in history that blew a 3-1 lead....and at the FINALS!!!

That Kyrie Irving 3 pointer that sealed the championship was amazing....Just coz I'm a Kyrie fan..Wherever he goes or stays I'll be rooting for him

I think he's moving things around to get PG13 or Jummy Buckets.

I don't know if that will be enough but If I'd have to choose I dunno. Buckets is a better defender but PG rarely misses a shot.

But a lot is going to happen pre draft and post draft. let's see. I hope the Celtics can better their team. I'm a Bulls fan but I like the Celtics as well since Boston was near where I was born.

I think if they can get Hayward or a first rate offensive player they can fight with Cleveland. Depends on how they trade

I'm a Djokovic more of a fan but Federer is a great player. At 36 and still competing with the best. That's something.

Too bad there're no good americans now. My favorite player ever was Pete Sampras. I still think he was the best ever.

undoubtedly Sampras was Sampras !!But like in all sports the changing of the guard was bound to happen. Federer though is a more complete player. 36 & still teaching them how to play the game. Last night was an all out exhibition match of how not to F*** with him !!

I don't think Federer is better than Djokovic. Djokovic is just going through some mental stuff. He dominated the circuit for 4 years winning every single match almost and all of a sudden something stopped clicking.

If Agassi can get his head in the right place I think Djokovic is almost unstoppable.

well the same could be said in reverse. Fed dominated the courts for nearly 5 1/2 years and eventually he dropped as well because of an injury. Plus you gotta admit age being a major factor that is.. he's playing at the top once again. Djokovic is probably one of the greater threats, but then again so is Nadal. Murray I think will get run over by these three once they start to hit the peak of their games. Roger is practically there. Nadal, well the spanish bull needs to only make the finals at wimbledon to retake the number one ranking. Djoko could be the big upset this time around.

Let's wait and see when tehy match up against each other, if they don't fall earlier.

The games are getting more interesting now. On the feamle side i think Rybarikova is playing the best tennis but I like Elina Svitolina and Agnieska Radwanska. I like players that aren't just about hitting the ball with all the strength you have and these 2 are prefect examples that intelligence can outperform strength.

On the men's side Federer is clearly the most versatile player. All others excluding Gilles Muller, who is one of the lost legacy of Serve and volley dudes, are all boring to watch. look at Nadal, Djokovic, murray,Dimitrov, etc....What do they have in common? They all play from the baseline. Rarely do they attack the net. I don't like deffensive players. That's why altyhough i like tosee Wozniacki play ,coz she's hot as hell, she just hits the ball to the other side waiting for the opponent to make an unforced error.

That being said I would love to see Murray, Djokovic, Federer and Nadal all in the semis facing each other. That would be awesome. My favorite for the tournament is still Djokovic but that's just my opinion. He's playing much better this week. Everyone links Federer as being the favorite but I disagree. His age, having a huge h2 disadvantage agaisnt Nadal (he almost always loses with Nadal. It just isn't a good matchup for him) and also against Djokovic. But dunno. All guesses. Let's hope for some great tennis.

well back to tennis !!
Sadly the only way those 4 meet is in the semi's. The draw is such that it would come down to
Murray vs nadaL & Federer vs Djokovic
That being said, yes fed has the age issue against him, but if you saw the aussie open the final set Nadal had no idea what hit him in the last 5 games. Im just hoping the man wins this and then hangs it up with his head held high. Other than sampras & borg, Fed is the only next to have graced the courts the way he has.
the rest are way to much of power & baseline & that gets a bit boring.

LOL. Ok. Then Golden State fans and Cleveland fans are all(those that don't live there) bndwagon fans either coz of Lebron or Curry/Durant and the superteam they have.

To be honest Connecticut doesn't have an NFL team so since it's in New England and Boston and NY are the closest cities with NFL teams, I would be either be a Giants fan or a Patriots fan.

I liked Mcenroe as well although I was only alive in the later years of his carrer but the guy was amazing.

i bet he'd still argue with the referee's even with the hawkeye technoly they have now. 100%. Some hated him , some loved him and I just loved the way he played, the way he argued with the referees. It was a hsow inside a show.

It's like now the players don't show their emotions on court. they're all so in their heads. back in the day it was a more animated rivalry coz they would badmouth each other. Like Jimmy Conners and McEnroe, Borg, Lendl.

Besides it was a better era for me coz the ebst were always americans!!! It seems unbelievable to me that since Sampras left the game like 10 years or more ago, there has been no champions. Not even a top player( Come on. Andy Roddick was just serve. Doesn't count)
