Weird.  Not what I would call great.  I watched the whole thing but was really done after the first minute.

Not bad. Interesting way the music is synchronized with the action. Nice little touches used, like when the car jumps as the shotgun fires at 2:40 you can see the wheels on the car bounce while it's airborne.

I'd sum it up in one word "abstract" :)

It's a 4 minute movie guys. Don't expect a complex story or something that goes into character development.

What I like about the film are the visuals and that I feel it's amazing. The action, the music, even the humor and the funky idea of it all just clicks with me. That and the girl in the pyramid dancing is so, so hot!!!

I think, what we have here, is a failure to communicate.

I once woke up in the middle of the night to catch the scene in Mulholland Drive (2001) where this Hispanic chick (Rebekah del Rio) sings Roy Orbison's Crying (Llorando), a Capella, in Spanish, exactly as it started. I was totally blown away. I was mesmerized & almost taken to tears.

I hated the film, but got it anyway, just so I could pull that clip out. I've sent it to friends & family & universally, they've all yawned. The best response I got was from an old Puerto Rican friend who was only able to be polite to the extent he said that the Spanish she used had 'interesting phrasing'.

There ares times in our lives when events strike us, due to the circumstances, our frame of mind & emotional condition, that have an almost epiphanal impact on us, where others, not in that exact same situation, don't feel the same effect.

I suspect this is one of those times for you, Alienmem.

What! David Lynch is a genius creative force often misunderstood and under appreciated.

:D

Reading this topic, this came to mind.

"My cow is not pretty, but it is pretty to me." - David Lynch

No. I totally understand. The short film that I used here is almost like a music video in a sense.
Either you're hooked or not.

BTW, Mulholland Drive is one of my favorite films ever!! hehe. But I respect anyone not liking it. :)

I've seen a lot of shorts but the only one that I can ever remember is "The Gunfighter" (2014).  I know it's not the best one I've seen but it is the most memorable.

Very strange - kind of looked like the guy was getting his own private striptease and the others were jealous so had to steal her from him lol
