The Slippery Soapbox

I will start a new thread with something different. We come across a lot of things in our life that makes us wonder why things happens around us, or around the world for that matter. I'm sure we have things that we can think of that would relate to a funny story, sad story or just a story to tell. A few rules, it has to be based on a true story, it can not be judgemental, no politics, no religion, well you know the drill. Besides that, no rules, just say it like it is.

I will start with mine. As I was watching the Canadian Dragon's Den this week, they had an entrepreneur presenting an opportunity to the Dragons that he says will be a healthy addition to their diets and portfolios. Very smart man with a master's degree program in Pharmacy that immigrated from India in 2004. Now the kicker in all of this is not how intelligent he is or what he was presenting to the Dragons. It's the fact that he found a job where he lives in Mississauga (Ontario) and in 2013, the job was sent to India. Yup, back to the country that he came from (and where many of our jobs have been and still going).
