What is your favorite bad film or TV show?

Every year we get something that does not always live up to the hype and Bombs!!!!!

Name that bad film or TV series that you like anyway!


I'll start with ''Howard the Duck'' I can watch this over and over.

I had high hopes for the movie ENEMY with Jake Gyllenhaal, but it turned out to be the worst movie I ever watched. I just wanted to take the blu-ray disc and break it in half, that's how disappointed I was. Same thing for BLACK SWAN, exact same feelings. Anytime I see either one of these covers somewhere, I still get that disgusted feeling! lol - And the worst part is that they are both rated high, people seem to like both, ugh.

On the other hand, my favorite movie I ever watched would have be THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW with Jake Gyllenhaal. Yup, that's right! lol

I don't really have a bad TV Show to tell about. All I can say is that they normally start good and rarely keeps me going for very long, especially if they air for more than 3-4 years. Of course, there are a few exceptions. If I would have to choose my favorite, I would have to go with BATES MOTEL which is still airing, but the very best was SONS OF ANARCHY.

Game of Thrones would be number one, even during the slow seasons I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the new season soon.

The bad list is long in both cases...

My favorite series of all time was 24. After that, Game of Thrones held me for quite awhile, but I've cooled.

My hands down favorite film is O Brother, Where Art Thou?

OK. I missed that aspect. My bad.

OK, for a movie, it would have to be Waterworld (1995). After that, I'd have to pick Heaven's Gate (1980). Both were horribly panned by the critics, but I love them both & will always stop to watch them if they appear on cable. I'll even dig out the DVDs occasionally.

For a series, I'd have to say Roswell (1999-2002). My wife & I watched the entire run of this series, though I thought it was silly & crappy, I still sat through all of it. To this day, I can't imagine why & it embarrasses me to no end.

Good pick Foggy, I watch Waterworld regularly too, I did not see it the first time until 2010 as it bombed so bad at the box office I just figured it was crap.

It was a favorite of my mothers and I watched it with her and dad one afternoon, from then on I was hooked, I have the extended version myself.

Awesome film. Critics need to be reviewed themselves.

I'm a sucker for Starship Troopers, Basic Instinct and Showgirls and they were all destroyed and are considered bad movies.

Interestingly or not, they're all directed by Paul Verhoeven.

i bought Waterworld steelbook for 7 bucks lol
i even saw the Waterworld "show" at universal studios back in '99.

The Arrival (1996) is a movie i love. can watch it over and over

as for tv shows, hmmm Babylon 5 maybe

Ok, but the Arrival isn't considered a bad film. It was even nominated for multiple awards and highly ranked among last years top films.

Are you sure you haven't got The Arrival (1996) confused with Arrival (2016)?

Interesting point, The Arrival and Independence Day, both about aliens from other worlds came out in theaters in the same year, 1996. Then 20 years later in 2016, Independence Day: Resurgence would come out in theaters as well as another alien visitation movie coincidentally called Arrival.

Some of the films that have been mentioned above I have never heard of let alone watched lol but I actually really enjoyed xXx: The Next Level (2005), if it's on Sky movies while I am bored, I would watch it again

Yes. I did mistake them but actually I've seen them both. The one with Charlie Sheen is from David Twohy(or something like that) He made Pitch Black, Below and i think some other Riddick(or k) films.

I actually think it's pretty good but yeah. I did think you were refering to the Amy Adams flick. My bad
