Because I know everyone is dying to hear, there was no Winner in Bristol today in fact there was no race.

BRISTOL, Tenn. -- Sunday's Food City 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway has been postponed due to rain. The race, No. 8 on the 36-race schedule for 2017, has been rescheduled for a 1 p.m. ET start Monday.

So the good news is we can all watch it tomorrow.

I slept all day...

No surprise there, according to Google (the final authority on all things) Owl Monkeys sleep 17 hours per day...

OMG, those owl monkeys certainly sleeps a lot, but so much for beauty sleep though, they are totally an ugly species! lol

Quiet a sports day with football, NHL and NASCAR, all though the race in thunder valley got postponed.

And since the Habs & Maple Leafs are out, hubby agreed to watch the 6 hours series "SIX" all in a one shot today! Amazing series with an awesome cast! I loved it and so did hubby (and it wasn't sports! lol). If you haven't watched it yet, do yourself a favor and do it! I thought it was a mini-series but apparently, there will be a season 2 in 2018, which is great news IMO. I give it a solid perfect score!

For no apparent reason, I woke up at 3am & was disgusted by what was on the TV, so I looked over at my wife to see if she was even watching it & she was awake. I asked her for the remote & she couldn't move her hands or speak. I took her temperature & it was 99.9F. I don't know what most of you know about MS (Multiple Sclerosis) but back before they had spinal taps & MRIs, they used to put people suspected of having MS in a hot bath & if they lost function, it was considered a definite diagnosis.

Anyway, I got 2 aspirin down her & started packing her with ice packs we keep in the refrigerator we have in the bedroom for that very reason. (Yes, our home is more on the order of a full care facility than what most think of as a home.) I turned on the ceiling fan & removed her top blanket & pulled her sheet up off her feet.

As I was doing this, I commented, "Why is it that this always seems to happen a day or two after you've just seen your doctor?" & while I was saying this, she croaked out almost exactly the same thing.

Within 20 minutes or so, her temperature was coming down & she was able to move her hands a bit, so I made sure she was comfortable & got back in bed.

At 5:30am, I woke up again & she is fine. I removed the ice packs, turned off the ceiling fan & put her blanket back on. She grabbed the remote & started channel surfing, so I know she's OK.

Honestly, every time she goes to her doctor & we report that everything is fine & he says she looks great & is doing well, a day or two later she spikes a fever. The last time, she wasn't able to wake me & I was sound asleep & didn't realize her condition until it was so far gone I had to call an ambulance & she spent a week in the hospital.

I'm beginning to suspect there's something going on, kinda like when you take your car to a mechanic & a week later, things that have never had problems start breaking, so you end up with your car in the shop for a week.

Well, we fooled them this time...

Fog, you need to keep your pets, Martha & Petey, around. Hopefully they'll be the early warning system for you both. Stay strong dude.

I agree with 2getted. Hopefully this is all noted for when she goes back to the doctor. You're doing a great job Fog, she's lucky to have such a caring hubby. I'm sure she knows that.

Checked the NFL schedule for 2017, looked at the Steelers draft choices again, counted the days down until first Kickoff of the 2017 season on Thu, September 7, 2017 which is exactly 119 days from today.

Sad as this may sound there is however a glimmer of good news in it and as I know the Owlette is dying to know.

The first Pre-Season game is Thu, Aug 3, 2017 when Bank's beloved Cowboys take on the Cardinals and that my friends is only 84 days away, not even three months, woot.

And because I'm such a nice fella I had to pick out a lovely NFL cheerleader picture to add to this post for absolutely no reason at all, other than I just wanted too and yes your welcome!

I just made a mustard dill pickle potato salad that we plan to have during lunch tomorrow, with toast points, of course.

I mainly post these to break up the boring sports talk for me & Chewy.
