Ok, The trailer already told me the whole movie. I've seen the "short version". Why should I see 100 minutes of the same?

The answer seems kind of obvious to me. "To watch it because you have not seen it."

But the trailer gives the whole plot away. the father is the killer. The film is the kid being paranoid that his father is the killer. Getting more and more paranoid until he discovers he really is the killer and then probably tried to shut him up or something.

Or they are misleading you and the father is just being made to look guilty.

I'm betting that is the real outcome and he saves his son last second from the real threat, that is how those things go most of the time, guess you will have to watch it to find out for sure...
