Papillon (2018)

Based on the international best-selling autobiographic books "Papillon" and "Banco", PAPILLON follows the epic story of Henri "Papillon" Charrière (Charlie Hunnam), a safecracker from the Parisian underworld who is framed for murder and condemned to life in the notorious penal colony on Devil's Island. Determined to regain his freedom, Papillon forms an unlikely alliance with quirky convicted counterfeiter Louis Dega (Rami Malek), who in exchange for protection, agrees to finance Papillon's escape, ultimately resulting in a bond of lasting friendship.

Probably won't be enough of Eve Hewson in it---so sad, as she has grown into quite the little hottie, I'm sure her daddy was proud of this GQ photo shoot, doubt she did it for the money as I would think Bono's daughter would never be lacking in that respect.

I'm betting the little owl is not watching it for her though... just a guess mind you.

That is definitely a good guess, lol - Mind you, I liked the original movie in the 70's so I can't see not liking the remake with such a great cast, not naming anyone in particular...

Re-Makes are wonderful, they are Hollywood's license to print money, the proverbial golden goose of Tinseltown young man, how dare you speak ill of the sacred egg laying foul. It is after all a revered and fiercely protected species in the movie capital of the world, etched into the annals of La-La Land legend and worshiped by entertainment elites throughout the universe.
