The story line makes it sound interesting, the trailer however is stupid IMO...

Phoenix often chooses roles that let him delve into the depths of the human experience. He usually delivers a worthy performance, but I often find the subjects a little dark & depressing. This one looks like one of those, though the abbreviated trailer makes it hard to tell. I suspect the trailer is this way because we just saw the one & only action sequence in the entire film & the rest will be hand wringing & weepy dialogue. Unless I see something to change this opinion, I'll be passing on this one. I already searched YouTube & there's not a single trailer or clip different than this one. They're all the same, which further bolsters my assumption about why this is all we see.
