Storyline

"Marvel's The Defenders" follows Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal - to save New York City. I liked Jessica Jones, Luke Cage not so much in his own series, he was fine as a sidekick in the JJ series. Not seen Daredevil or Iron Fist yet, to be honest Marvel TV has by and large has not been my cup-of-tea, for example Agent Carter and Agents of Shield being two that I really detested. Now I like Marvel movies but the TV series not so much.

That said since I do like Jessica I'll probably give this ago none the less, looks like from the trailer they are using her as the central figure in this motley crew probably a smart move as her character was fairly popular.

I guess I need to finish watching Luke Cage now... I made it about half way thru before I just could not watch it any longer for fear of falling asleep, time to face that fear.

Iron Fist has been on my long list to check out as has Daredevil, guess they need to be moved over to the short list now...

My wife & I watched Daredevil & were surprised at how much better it was than we expected.

It's Marvel, so I will certainly watch it.

That's good to know Fog as it's on Canadian Netflix, which is great as we can only get Daredevil on blu-ray and it's not cheap.

Yup, Daredevil and Jessica Jones were good. Daredevil did surprise me I must admit. I could tolerate Luke Cage but they could have done a lot better in developing his character. Then they really screwed the pooch with Iron Fist - talk about not developing a character. I still have yet to finish watching all the episodes but it is a struggle. Might just have to keep putting it off and go straight to the Defenders I think.

All in for this though Cage and DD are my fav. Can't get enough of those 2 series.
