Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from the game—and the rest of the crew has been exonerated—the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman (Oscar winner Charlize Theron) seduces Dom into the world of crime he can’t seem to escape and a betrayal of those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before.

From the shores of Cuba and the streets of New York City to the icy plains off the arctic Barents Sea, our elite force will crisscross the globe to stop an anarchist from unleashing chaos on the world’s stage…and to bring home the man who made them a family.

For The Fate of the Furious, Vin Diesel is joined by a returning all-star cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky and Kurt Russell. In addition to Theron, the series welcomes newcomers Scott Eastwood and Oscar winner Helen Mirren.

The film is directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton) and produced by returning producers Neal H. Moritz, Michael Fottrell and Diesel.

Release date: April 14, 2017 (USA)

I think this calls for an INTERVENTION. We all need to come together in support of our deprived (depraved?) buddy & apply some tough love. Strap him down in a recliner & make him watch all of them, end to end. Yes, a marathon of F&F. Popcorn & all. It's the right thing to do!

This iwill be a brain-dead movie formulation with some of the worst actors ever "performing" in it.
I would rather have my eyeballs cleaned with a toothbrush than watch Vinny Petrol and Dwayne the Strain doing pork impersonations of actors.

What is Charlize doing in there...anyone?????

I had no interest from the start. The first movies seemed boring. Perhaps I should see how the series developed.

While one or two of the franchise films were OK IMAO, they should have killed this series off when Paul Walker died.
Even Police Academy had an end date! :0shot:

I have to disagree there, the producers seemed to think the same thing you do in the beginning, ie they thought Paul Walker could carry the series, then came the crushing failures. Fact is Paul Walker was never the real ticket draw in this series, what they should have done is killed him off sooner and that is very much supported by the box office numbers.

The films that failed had him in them and were missing Vin Diesel the series did not revive until they brought Vin back, none have failed to make money with Vin in them.

Why so many think Paul Walker was such a good actor is beyond me, he was at best Robin to Vin's Batman, in how many recent Batman films was Robin featured? none, the reason is he's not the lead and he's not needed.

I never watched any of these films for Paul Walker, he was a waste of screen time in my opinion and the series will be just fine without him. Watch the box office numbers when this one is released and see if you can find a argument that the series has failed due to his death...

These films are about huge impossible effects that are well done, not a almost unknown actor, his character was needed in the first film due to the story-line but even so there are several b-list actors who could have filled that role with the same success, after that he was just in the way really.

Paul Walker's name is known because of The Fast and The Furious not the other way around buddy. On that same note if Vin Diesel had not been in the first film no one would likely even know Paul Walkers name and it would more than likely have been a one film and done deal... like the rest of Paul's early films how many can you name without Googling it I wonder.
