This time I spent a little more time and added textures..created a composite image in the front...spent a little time blending it right, masking out stuff...

I like it,I dunno. What do you guys think?

Since this has as per usual spiraled into a area that has nothing to do with comments on the cover itself.

I'll settle it by removing all comments not "about the cover".

If you prefer to not view it and not give feedback fine but let the staff handle the moderation and liking or not liking a film or it's subject matter is not justification to be harsh or negative, just so that is clear.

Only thing I can suggest is to center the XXX on the spine horizontally as it looks like it's a little to the left.

I'm not overly keen on the red text, I mean it's OK for it to be red if that is what you want but it just looks out of place to me in that color scheme.

It looks to me that both the XXX & the text beside it are left shifted on the spine. It also looks like a thinpak spine, assuming the vertical black bar is the spine. Are you planning to make the spine standard width?

I'm not fond of the red text either.  It also looks like there should be a character return between the first two paragraphs since there is a space between the second and third.  It also appears that the spine at the bottom is larger than the rest due to the blue area that contains the spec box not being as wide as the white section with the synopsis above it.  If any of that makes sense.  Other have already mentioned the three X's.  Other than that I think you have a good cover.

Yes, it is a thinpack since i have two originals that i bought directly from the directors ans so to match with those(which are thin) i opted to do all three cover thin as well. I'll gladly do a standard spine and upload if the mderators and administators find them useful. I doubt many have seen these films but I'll gladly upload them if you ask me to.

Yes, the red was because in the retail they use red but it's also used in the spine. I'll change that


Oh, and as to why I made a second paragraph there i dunno. I have to fx ut and make it just one..

The two small stills on the back are much brighter & intense than the larger image on the back & the front cover. I'd prefer to see the front & larger back image to be brighter, like the small stills, but that's just me, I guess.

Thanks Fog. I color corrected the still so they match..but just as an artistic preference I like the contrast between the stills and the other bigger images. But i did adjust the lower still which does have a lot more contrast(I think) that the upper one.

Yeah...but it looks fine at 300dpi.


I just used a topaz filter whcih cn prety much be what: maybe a combination os furface blur or something

I get you but I made the front from a somehat low res image and this was the best I could do to mask that low res. I can post both the effect laid cover and the effect less cover in full dpi for you huys to check. I can post it in dropbox if i can't upload something that big to your servers.

I can understand the disappointment in the skin quality, being a huge fan of the female form, myself, but I just assumed the effect was intended to give it a surreal look, which I thought worked quite well.

Oh yeah, that was exactly my intention. Fog is absolutely right. It's on purpose for a surreal look.
It's like she has baby skin...she probably uses a lot of johnson and johnson baby oil.....always good for the skin, i say.

Up to you. They're not pornographic films as I've said. They are films that have won awards in several film festivals. they are legitimate movies.
