I have not tired different papers.
I bought a box of Laser paper the gal at the store said was best for the printer when I got it and I have not had issues, could not tell you anything further on it, I'm not one who "tinkers" I go with what works and only make changes if that is not the case.
Like the Xerox printer did not last long as it kept jamming the paper, I tried one other paper brand with it and that did not solve the issue, so the printer was replaced with the Samsung, even though it was not a month old it was sold... problem solved.
I don't live with things that don't work, they work as expected or they get replaced with ones that do.
At over 200gsm your using card stock, my paper is not that heavy it's like 28lb or 120gsm at 97 which is plenty heavy enough in my opinion.

Same brand at 110lb or 199gsm is card stock but as you can see it's not nearly as bright only 92, whiter is better in my opinion anyway.
