[Imrahil]

This will be my thread for blu-rays that aren't a part of an ongoing series elsewhere.


Decided to add a "virtual bookshelf" of these, like Ctaulbee and others do.

First up is the Dude himself, the Big Lebowski.  I used a scan of the back of the digibook release to get the carpet, and then cut it in half and cloned it to get the full rug without the text, then ported that over to the front as well.

The pins on the front were an element I created based on the dancers in the dream sequence (you can see Maude from that sequence on the back, and the Dude's face on the front is also from there).

Sherlock Seasons 1-2. Would people prefer it to be "Series 1-2"?  

I Love the show to DEATH.  It's been released on Blu in Region B, but not yet region A; still waiting it eagerly. I assume the features will be the same.  Not a ton of creativity here--there are raelly tons of great resources for this since it's still a new show, but I did want to feature some of the awesome Victorian wallpaper; fortunately there's a great picture of Mycroft which fit the bill perfectly for the back.

Newest update:
Amadeus.  Tired of just the mostly-black cover, I used a painting of the stage set for "The Magic Flute" as seen in the film as the background, and then a skyline of Prague (used in the filming as a stand-in for Vienna) in the foreground, with some cloud effects.  The "Queen of Night" was resized and put onto the spine.  Most of the back specs are copied from the official release.

Big Trouble in Little China.
Did this recently mostly due to the fact that I had a great copy of the poster, which is a Drew Struzan classic and should be on the cover. The rest is kind of generic "chinese" kinds of things.  Mostly the poster is the star here.

Love both your Amadeus and Big Trouble in Little China covers. I agree about the poster usage for Big Trouble, most appropriate to use it!

The whole thing is based around the color scheme of the Bushwood Country Club logo (seen on the back cover) -- gold, green, red, and white.  I tried to add a bit of texture to the solid color blocks (some golf clubs) and tried to include most of the major players in some way.  

The reason I have Danny on the back is not because he's hilarious, but because he's the focus through which we follow the story, and they didn't include him in any of the promotional stuff, so I felt like he deserved a spot.
