I really like this new cover. It reminds me of those old classic horror posters. It realizes the very chaos that is a horror movie. Perfect.

Too bad I have the non criterion dvd version. I think it was one of the first if not the irst release of this film. has as a front an illustration of a female zombie I think, with red hair. it's coloured.

This is an amazing collection ct. "Night of the Living Dead" looks awesome! The contrast between the green and the black and white images and dark background really makes it pop. The design really screams old horror movie. No pun intended.  

I also love the Vampyr tt. I'm not sure if that is the studio version, or one of your own creation. Either way it really suits the cover. I love your choice of colors as well. You really have a way of using unique, original colors that work well together.

Thanks, the NOTLD is pretty much the classic keyart with a lot of clean up work, also I traced out the original title in Illustrator to have a clean scale-able version, it's a classic look so no custom mods to it.



The title on Vampyr is a custom job, sometimes I do that if the film has a multitude of titles and no clear winner or recognizable layout, still it's a little bit of a play on some of the ones used on the old posters.

Vampyr is from 1932, so all hand drawn art for the most part a few screen caps and little to nothing of any size or quality to work with lol.

Criterion went with a Old English font which is actually not used on the original art but they often get things wrong or more to the point they just do what they want and that is generally for speed and not much attention to accuracy lol.



Couple of the old images which inspired my title treatment, the first is from the keyart and the second is the one they used in the film.

Taking risks on covers is a part of the job and I feel your criterion front covers are always very cool.
