i would have loved to use that, but couldnt find a decent one.

Yeah, I didn't express myself corectly. What I wanted to say is that I love illustration covers and it's kind of obsolete in terms of retail covers if you take out a couple of niche retailers like criterion and shout, possibly kino and some smaller guys.

these covers were standard in the golden age of Hollywood. 30s 40s 50s 60s 70s...even 80s.

i remember all VHS cover still having illustrations as covers.

I prefer this much more to the nowadats photoshopping of peoples face next to each other all the time.

@alien, nah you said it right, i just misunderstood. i agree there are too many floating head posters
but its cheaper and i dont think illustrations would work for every movie
